Ionomer filler: It allows greater resistance and longevity of the application besides recharging and relieving fluoride to the buccal environment as a way to replace the fluoride that has been released.

cariogenic activity and in newly erupted teeth.
Step by step
Check occlusal contacts, noting if there are occlusal interference zones in the areas of pits and fissures.
Isolate the tooth preferably with absolute or relative isolation. Perform prophylaxis to clean the surface, with the help of cups or brushes.
Apply phosphoric acid conditioner (Condac 37 – FGM) for 30 seconds, rinse thoroughly and dry the surface.
The etched enamel will have a whitish opaque appearance and should be kept free from contamination by fluids. If the area becomes contaminated, repeat the isolation procedure (if necessary) and the acid etching.
Adjust the application tip in the Prevent sealant syringe and apply the resin throughout the area of pits and fissures, avoiding occlusal interface regions.
Light cure the product for 20 seconds*. *Curing time defined considering a light-curing device with blue light with power density above 400 mW/cm². Equipment with less power requires greater exposure time. There is no risk of overexposure.
Check occlusion again.
Treatment maintenance care: it is essential that after application of Prevent Sealant the patient should be included in a preventive program with diet and hygiene control, and that the seal integrity is checked periodically. If there is a deficiency, reassess the diagnosis of caries before sealing again.
