Esthetics
• Permanent cementation of prosthetic pieces.
• Cementation of orthodontic bands and devices.
• Used as a cavity liner.
The operative area must be properly isolated. The enamel/dentin surfaces should be free from dirt (e.g. cement residues) and lightly moistened.
The internal part of the piece may be blasted with aluminum oxide for higher micro mechanical retention.
The recommended proportion is 1 spoon of powder to 1 drop of liquid. Before dispensing the desired portions, shake both bottles.
Mix initially with half spoon of the powder with the liquid and then add the rest of the powder gradually until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
Apply a fine layer of cement inside the piece and position it on the tooth, exerting light to moderate pressure.
Any excess cement may be removed in 5 to 7 minutes with an exploratory probe.
