During the clinical and radiographic examination, a large carious lesion was found in the distal portion of the tooth, already invading the pulp chamber.
Endodontics was performed on tooth 27 and then restorative planning was done. For this tooth with such large cavity, the preparation of the palatine conduit was used to place a fiberglass post (Whitepost DC 0.5). In the conduit, Ambar Universal APS adhesive was applied by the self-etching technique and then Allcem Core cement was applied for post cementation. After that, the entire cavity was filled with the same cement. In the same session, the tooth received an onlay and molding preparation. After obtaining the plaster model, an onlay restoration was made with Vittra APS composite. After internal treatment with Condac Porcelana 5% for 30 seconds, Prosil and Ambar Universal, the onlay was cemented with Allcem Core cement, color A1.
