Yellowish stains on the central incisors originated from a
“non-satisfactory whitening procedure” performed 19 years ago.
The teeth had A1 shade and the yellowish stains were residual orthodontic cement, which was only partially removed interfering in aesthetics.
General healthy oral conditions and clear teeth (A1 shade). Remnants of cement for brackets on teeth number 11 and 21 were detected. This situation caused a negative aspect to the smile.
The remnants of the cement were carefully removed and the take-home whitening procedure was performed with Whiteness Perfect (FGM) carbamide peroxide at 10% for four weeks with a four-hour daily application.s.
