Patient came to the clinic to finish her orthodontic treatment, was not satisfied with the result and would like to improve the appearance of her smile.
The patient had a gummy smile, a high smile and an occlusal plane inclination. Teeth analysis showed a deficient dental proportion with altered incisal edges. In the dynamic analysis, there was no anterior and canine guides and premature contacts after the lateral course.
The purpose of the study was to perform a periodontal surgery to increase the clinical crowns and improve the gummy smile, align the superior incisor plane by making 8 polycrystalline ceramic veneers. The preparations were minimally invasive and performed supragingivally in order to preserve the enamel, to optimize the adhesive cementation of the veneers.
