Allcem Veneer is a light-curing resin cement for cementation of ceramic veneers and no-prep veneers with thickness up to 1.5 mm. In addition to high shade stability, the cement has mechanical and chemical properties that contribute to the longevity of indirect restorations.

APS (Advanced Polymerization System), which is present in the resin, allows for the obtainment of polymerization without noticeable color alteration (same color before and after photopolymerization) and for longer working time under ambient light.

The range of shades and opacity variations allow for a successful stratification technique, which, along with the other characteristics, offer maximum aesthetic performance and great mimesis with natural teeth.

Characteristics and Advantages

• Light curing: control of the working time.
• Shade stability: the light-curing system of the cement is practically free from tertiary amine, which is essential only for chemically cured materials and is responsible for long-term shade change.
• Variety and simplicity of shades: available in six different shades named according to the VITAPAN® Classical and/or Opallis (FGM) scale, which enables the execution of all cases.
• Mechanical properties: the product has excellent mechanical properties together with high shade stability, which provides long-lasting and reliable cementation. Allcem Veneer presents approximately 63% inorganic fillers in weight
• Excellent viscosity: brings together a suitable flow with the capacity to maintain the piece in position during cementation (thixotropy).
• Radiopacity: important characteristic for detecting eventual excess cement remaining on the gingival tissue.


• The product is indicated for definitive cementation of no-prep veneers and indirect veneers free from metal (pieces with thickness up to 1.5 mm). The cement should be used together with the acid conditioner for enamel and dentin (Condac 37 – FGM) and adhesive system (Ambar – FGM) for treatment of the dental substrate. Use the acid conditioner for porcelain (Condac Porcelana 5% or 10% – FGM) and silane (Prosil – FGM) on the internal surface of the prosthetic piece.

Step by Step

Preparation of the teeth

Step 1

Check that the surface of the tooth and prosthetic piece are free of Allcem Veneer Try-in and/or any other substance.

Step 2

Carry out relative or absolute isolation as preferred by the professional and in accordance with the teeth to be submitted to the cementation of pieces.

Step 3

Etch the surface of the enamel (15 to 30 seconds) and/or dentin (15 seconds) with phosphoric acid (Condac 37 – FGM), wash and dry gently without dehydrating.

Step 4

If the cervical termination is subgingival and relative isolation is preferred, proceed with the retraction maneuver using retraction cords (Pro Retract – FGM).

Step 5

Apply two layers of adhesive (Ambar – FGM) rubbing vigorously with the applicator (Cavibrush – FGM) for 10 seconds on both. Do not light cure.

Preparation of the piece

Step 1

Etch the internal surface of the veneer with hydrofluoric acid (Condac Porcelana 5 or 10% – FGM) for the time required according to the type of ceramic.

Step 2

Apply a layer of silane (Prosil – FGM) inside the piece and let it dry for 1 minute.

Step 3

Apply two layers of adhesive (Ambar – FGM) inside the piece, applying an air jet for 10 seconds. Do not light cure.


After proper preparation of the piece and the tooth, proceed with the cementation itself.

Step 1

When handling the cement, check that the light from the reflector is not focused upon it, as this could speed up the curing process of Allcem Veneer.

Step 2

Use the syringe or a spatula to deposit a fine layer of cement on the internal surface of the veneer.

Step 3

Position the piece in the prepared area and, keeping it under light pressure, remove the excess cement using Cavibrush (FGM) or exploratory probe.

Step 4

After removal of the excess cement and before light curing, apply glycerin gel to the edges of the restoration in order to prevent the layer inhibited by oxygen. Light curing should occur for 40 seconds* on each of the margins (mesial, distal and cervical) and directly on the vestibular surface.

Step 5

Finishing and polishing may be conducted with fine sanpaper disks (Diamond Pro – FGM), sandpaper strips, polishing pastes (Diamond Excel – FGM) and felt disks (Diamond Flex – FGM).

*For light curing of the material, use Halogen or LED equipment with power density equal or superior to 450mW/cm² and emission of spectrum of blue light (400-500 nm).


Can Allcem Veneer be used for cementation of all types of indirect pieces?

No. Because it can only be light cured, it is not possible to cement pieces with opaque infrastructure.

What is the maximum thickness of translucent pieces for cementation using Allcem Veneer?

Around 1.5mm. Thicker pieces may offer greater resistance to the passage of light, which interferes in total curing of the cement.

Information for the Professional

Precautions and Contraindications

• Use Allcem Veneer only as informed in the Instructions for Use.
• The product is indicated for professional use only.
• The product may cause some level of irritation if in contact with the dental pulp and/or very close to it.
• In cases of pulp exposure, protect the area with lining material or cavity base. Subsequently, for masking of the base material, the opaque cement may be used to minimize the aesthetic impact.
• Do not use eugenol based materials in order to avoid insufficient curing on the surface.
• Temporary cementing materials used for cementation of the provisional veneer can also negatively impact Allcem Veneer resin cement. Thus, when conducting provisional cementation before definitive cementation choose cements free from eugenol.
• Allcem Veneer contains curing monomers that can cause skin sensitization (allergic contact dermatitis) in susceptible individuals. After contact, wash the area immediately with soap and water.
• Allcem Veneer contains methacrylates that could be irritant to the eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
• Be sure to close the lid of the packaging after use.
• Use the product at room temperature so as not to cause rheological changes in the pastes.
*For light curing of the material, use Halogen or LED equipment with power density equal or superior to 450 mW/cm² and emission of spectrum of blue light (400-500 nm). Wear protective eyewear when using a light-curing unit.
• In cases of proven allergies to any of the components in Allcem Veneer, discontinue use.

Preservation and storage

• The packaging of the product should be closed immediately after use.
• Store the product in a clean and dry location in its original packaging.
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
• Store the product at temperatures between 5-25ºC/ 41-77ºF.
• Do not freeze the product.
• The validity period of the product is 2 years from the production date.
• Do not use the product after its expiration date.
• Follow the legislation of your country for disposal of the product.
• Do not reuse empty packaging.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Protect the product from external contamination.

Side effects

• The product may cause some level of irritation if in contact with the dental pulp and/or very close to it.
• In the event of allergic reactions to the product, suspend its use. Other side effects associated with the use of this product are unknown.
