FGM’s participation in this year´s edition of CIOSP (International Odontology Congress of São Paulo), held at Expo Center Norte, from January 27th to January 30th, was very positive in all aspects. In spite of the challenging period that our country is facing, FGM had a sales increase during the congress of approximately 20%, compared to the percentage registered in 2015.
Throughout the 70 courses delivered by renowned professionals of the odontology segment, the number of attendees had a significant increase (50%) compared to last year´s. In 2015, around 3,000 professionals were present to the company offered courses. This year, that number was approximately 4,500.
The number of foreign visitors to the show was also positive, especially from Latin America. Around 90% of those foreign visitors stopped by FGM’s stand. From Latin America, there were customers form Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. In addition, professionals from Portugal, England, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey visited FGM’s space.
New product launches highlights
Innovation allied to functionality and fair cost/benefit ratio are the basic principles that guide FGM’s history. The introduction of ION Z, an innovative product that is capable of removing different caries, without the need of the use of the traditional and uncomfortable drill, captured the attention of the visitors.
The area of implantodontics was the target of another great novelty by FGM. It was the introduction of the Arcsys implant system in which the prosthetics component allows for customized angulation according to each patient´s needs by means of the Folding Abutment Device. This feature is an exclusive breakthrough in the market. The kit also brings new models of drils, which allow for single perforation actions, without the need for scaling. These unique features guarantee to the patient a more accurate aesthetic, functionality and health result expectations.
