In the 90’s, the founding partners of FGM Dental Products Ltd., Friedrich  G. Mittelstadt and Bianca O. Mittelstadt developed the first Brazilian dental bleaching, project conduced in partnership with the Operative Dentistry Discipline at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).

At the time, dental bleaching in Brazil was extremely costly, opportunity that drove the development of a national product that was affordable and with international quality standards.

In 1993, FGM introduced the Whiteness bleaching gel, the first dental bleaching product a 100% national, developed with the support of the PhDs. Luiz Narcizo Baratieri, and Gilberto Archari both professors at the Federal University of Santa Catarina.

Almost three years later, FGM started operating in its first headquarters, measuring just 130 square meters in the city of Joinville. After accomplishing great success, FGM then moved to a new headquarters now measuring 2000 square meters of built area. Supported by a highly qualified R&D team, FGM invested in technology and developed a project that would innovate the dentistry market. By 2004 the company was certified by the ISO 9001:2000.

In 2006 FGM was again innovative by launching the Opallis resin. Since then, there have been only reasons to celebrate. FGM products were certified by the EC (European Community) and began exporting to 49 countries.

In 2007 FGM was certified by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) with the Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices and Control of Products for Health.

Nowadays FGM counts on the support of 45 sales professionals, and the consultancy of the Drs. Letícia Ferri and Constanza Odebrecht, who support our professionals and enable FGM to have the skills to develop the best dental solutions.
