Presentation

OrthoCem is an adhesive / photopolymerizable cement for bonding of orthodontic brackets made of polycarbonate, metal and ceramics. The product presents photoactivated cure, allowing full control of the professional over the bonding of the bracket and the immediate installation of the orthodontic arch.

A great advantage in the clinical sphere is the monocomponent presentation of the product. The primer is already embedded in the adhesive in the same syringe, reducing one clinical step and consequently facilitating and streamlining the procedure. Thus, it is necessary to have only etching in the enamel, washing and drying and subsequent application of the product in the bracket for its cementation.

OrthoCem presents balanced bond resistance, designed to be sufficient to withstand the mechanical stress of the orthodontic treatment but not be overly adhesive to the point of making its removal difficult after the treatment. Additionally, its viscosity allows easy positioning of the brackets and its ability to resist color changes over time brings a significant aesthetic benefit.
